The Remo Powerstroke P3 Fiberskyn Ambassador gives you the warm midrange and low-end tone of calfskin, with added overtone control.
This drumhead is made with a single ply of 10mil film, a 3mil polyspun fiber laminated top coating, and a 2mil inlay ring. The top coating is designed to have the look, sound, and feel of calfskin, which gives a nice boost to the midrange and low-end frequencies. The result is a full and warm sound.
The P3 Fiberskyn Ambassador has a moderate sustain, which is controlled by the inlay ring. Overtones are also reduced by the inlay ring, as well as the fiber coating. This drumhead is excellent for moderate volume playing, both live and in the studio.
Compared to the Powerstroke P3 Fiberskyn Diplomat, the Ambassador version is slightly warmer, more controlled, and more durable.
